CW is my favorite mode. I have found CW operators to be courteous and forgiving. In the spirit of the many ops who have encouraged me in person and on air, I hope to inspire others to learn the code.
Every Thursday evening at 1900 local time on 7.118 (+/- QRM) I run a beginner's practice CW net from Goose Point in Kittery. All are welcome to join in no matter their experience.
Check in and feel the excitement of hearing your call come back to you!
Here is a link to a script to follow along.
Even if you do not check in, listen for the weekly message which I will send twice, once at medium speed and once at slow speed.
The NEQRP CW net takes place every 4th Wednesday of the month at 2000 local on 3.560 MHz. Crank your power down to 5 watts or lower (we have had check-ins at 750 mw!) and join other New England cw ops.
Check in at any speed up to 20 wpm. Every month there is a different topic for this roundtable net.
